Geoffrey Hopf is a native of Southern Maryland. His life has been as he calls it "an adventure". From 18 till he was 33 he traveled the world. He spent 6 years in the Marines Corps and is a decorated combat veteran, a few years as a Commercial Diver and 9 years as an Executive Protection Agent. He settled down from all the travel with the love of his life Tahnee. With Tahnee's love and support he embarked on a career in writing. Doggieville is his first children's book. He is currently working on the second book in the Doggieville series as well as a novel and historical book.

Life is still very much an adventure for Geoffrey. "Being a daddy is the greatest adventure I've ever done, the joy I give them fills my life with total meaning."

He and his family currently reside in sunny San Diego.
